CA’s Annual Fund campaign provides two unique opportunities:

1. Living our REACH principles of altruism and commitment to better our community. 
2. Providing gifts that immediately impact our school and shape the future of our students. 

Gifts from Board members, parents, grandparents, staff, alumni, and friends support student learning, classroom resources, facility enhancements, bursaries, and other essential projects at Calgary Academy. Together as our CA community, we can support the school that impacts so many lives.  

 Yearly tuition and government grants fund Calgary Academy’s operating costs, such as salaries, utilities, and daily maintenance. Independent schools raise money through Annual Fund campaigns to provide a wider range of opportunities than school budgets can buy, including classroom resources, facility enhancements, equipment and technology purchases, co-curricular expenses, and bursaries to help deserving students attend CA.  

As a registered charity, we can provide charitable donation receipts for gifts from the community.

  Calgary Academy’s Annual Fund supports students TODAY, while shaping the future of our school. This year, our focus for the Annual Fund includes athletics equipment, new instruments and lighting for our music and drama programs, bursaries to help with tuition, furnishings for the Southwest addition such as the Innovation Hub and more.  

Our 2022–2023 Annual Fund Campaign raised essential funds for a variety of projects including the transformation of our Junior School Science Lab. Now a space for hands-on learning, the facility enhancements will help support our students’ learning, inspiring our next generation of scientists.  

Investing in our facility provides students with what they need to succeed—on the court and the stage. New basketball hoops for the Aux Gym, a branded Main Gym partition, and upgraded lights and sound in the Black Box Theatre will support daily learning and extracurricular events.  

Daily instruction at Calgary Academy is more than a lesson plan—it includes the classroom resources available to our students and teachers. New school resources, like modern instruments, will support our students and inspire passion in daily learning and extracurriculars.

For over 40 years, Calgary Academy has impacted thousands of students’ lives. However, this is just the beginning of the Calgary Academy story.   

Each year, CA families are asked to contribute to the Annual Fund, and each year, we aim to increase participation and donations. Donations of all sizes matter—your gift, big or small, supports the work for our students today and strengthens our legacy for the next 40 years.

How Much Should I Give?

The act of giving is highly personal, and we encourage every family to consider an amount that is meaningful for them. Gifts to our Annual Fund range from $25 to $25,000+. Your gift, combined with others from our school community, helps turn dreams into reality.
